The Maryland Jockey Club has reached a tentative deal to sell Rosecroft Raceway in Prince George’s County to industrial real estate developer Prologis Inc. (NYSE: PLD) for an undisclosed price.

Race meets for the fall 2022 and spring 2023 seasons are slated to continue as scheduled regardless of the outcome of the negotiations, a Jockey Club spokesperson told the Washington Business Journal.

“The Maryland Jockey Club has been approached with an offer to acquire Rosecroft Raceway, and we have entered into an agreement contemplating a sale,” Mike Rogers, acting president and general manager of the Jockey Club, said in an emailed statement to the WBJ.
