Eleven industry associations are calling on the Trump administration to rescind the executive order on diversity and training.
The associations wrote to the Office of Management and Budget and the Labor Department laying out their concerns. They said the EO will create confusion among the government contractors when it comes to the administrative and oversight burdens of determining compliance.
The group told OMB that they do not agree that there is anything divisive about providing information that encourages their employees to treat all of their colleagues equally and with respect.
