Fifty-three ZIP codes in Greater Washington rank among the nation’s 1,000 wealthiest places — and Northern Virginia leads the way.
That’s according to a new Wealthy 1000 ranking by The Business Journals of the nation’s wealthiest ZIP codes based on a weighted formula that looks at a number of wealth metrics.
The local ZIP code that ranks highest on the national list is 20009 in Northwest D.C., which stretches from Dupont and Logan Circles to Columbia Heights.
