The Washington Football Team has had a tumultuous month, from the decision to change its longtime nickname to a report alleging sexual harassment and verbal abuse among some execs.
But it’s still a big-ticket NFL team and Dan Snyder’s franchise is still worth a ton of money — to the count of $3.4 billion, according to a new valuation from Forbes.
That price tag puts Washington in a tie for the 14th most valuable franchise in all of professional sports, worldwide. Washington is tied with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 14th spot and it is the seventh-most valuable NFL franchise on the list.
The franchise also held the 14th spot on last year’s list, but its valuation jumped $300 million from the previous year, according to Forbes’ calculations.
