The Office of Central Services (OCS) is proud to announce the launch of the Prince George’s County Green Book, a digital guide for County-based Small Businesses (CBSBs) and County-based Minority Business Enterprises (CBMBEs) to connect to procurement opportunities within Prince George’s County Government. The Green Book is now live.
The Green Book will assist the business community in navigating the local government procurement process by providing an agency-by-agency overview of diverse and local spending availability. Specifically, the Green Book will:
• Assist County Agencies and Departments with increasing their utilization of diverse and local suppliers to meet the requirements for procurement spending in accordance with Procurement Code 10A-162.
• Establish a centralized digital platform that will allow County businesses to identify procurement opportunities by Agency.
• Establish a multi-facet online portal that will provide technical assistance to County businesses.
• Help Agencies to guide spending of their budgets within Prince George’s County.
