President Joe Biden will address the supply chain issues Wednesday afternoon, where the White House is expected to push the blockages that could threaten the holiday shopping season.
Despite Biden’s pending speech, Bill Doyle, head of the Port in Baltimore tells WBAL that there are no backups. However, with the backups on the West Coast, “Over the past eight weeks, we have attracted two new services.”
Despite that, Doyle said, “the case here in Baltimore is We are doing very well.”
He said 21 additional ships that were not coming to Baltimore before are now coming to the city. Ships are coming from China and through the Panama Canal.
