Maryland state officials want Dimensions Healthcare System out of a new Prince George’s County regional medical center, but a management framework for the planned hospital facility remains ill-defined.
And the University of Maryland Medical System, which will take the reins of the facility, is running low on time.
According to The Washington Post, UMMS hasn’t determined the “details such as mechanics, structure, governance and branding” of a new hospital system despite just being a few weeks away from a deadline to submit a new plan to state health officials.
