Tom’s Watch Bar, a growing sports bar chain from Smashburger founder Tom Ryan, will open on Dec. 5 at the former Circa location at 781 Seventh St. NW in Chinatown near Capital One Arena.
The 6,500-square-foot space features more than 300 seats, 120 high-definition screens and personalized audio at every table. The screens are set up to provide a 360-degree viewing experience and the D.C. space includes three oversized stadium screens.
The menu will feature a big beer selection, including seasonal offerings and local microbrews, all available in Tom’s two-handed 40 oz. steins. It will also offer craft cocktails, a wine list and “elevated sports-bar fare,” including pickle-brined crispy chicken, a prime rib dip and — exclusive to the restaurant — an Old Bay shrimp basket.
The venue will also feature a Swing Suite powered by Topgolf, a simulator bay that features virtual golf, hockey, baseball, football, soccer and carnival games.
