The wealthiest person in Greater Baltimore, Ravens owner Stephen Bisciotti, saw his net worth rise more than 8% over the past year to a whopping $6.4 billion.
The increase from $5.9 billion in 2022 landed Bisciotti, 62, in the No. 397 spot on Forbes’ 2023 World Billionaires List.
The former Baltimore resident now lives in Anne Arundel County and is one of five billionaires who reside in the Baltimore area, and one of 11 living in Maryland, according to Forbes’ most recent ranking.
Maryland’s wealthiest resident is Annette Lerner, the widow of Washington Nationals owner and real estate magnate Ted Lerner who died in February at age 97. Lerner and her family reside in Chevy Chase and carry a net worth of $6.5 billion, putting them at No. 390 on Forbes’ global ranking.
Other Baltimore-area billionaires include Allegis Group Chairman and Cockeysville resident Jim Davis (No. 624). Davis, 63, saw his wealth rise by about 2% over the past year to $4.4 billion.
