One of Maryland’s highest-profile Democrats is not running for governor in 2022.
Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski on Thursday announced his plans to run for re-election in 2022.
Some had speculated that Olszewski might run for governor, but in an email and Facebook post, Olszewski said this is still more to be done in Baltimore County and he is seeking a second term.
