Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) continues to sit on an eye-popping amount of campaign cash, according to campaign finance statements released Tuesday. After having to sit on the sidelines during the three-month General Assembly session, he took in a quick $1.2 million between mid-April and mid-May.
Of the nine Democratic candidates for governor, Baltimore attorney James L. Shea, the former managing director of the powerful Venable firm, reported the most cash on hand as of last week.
What follows are summaries of the gubernatorial candidates’ fundraising activities. Check Maryland Matters throughout the week for analysis and more details.
