The developers planning the huge North Woodbridge Town Center in Prince William County and moving ahead with the project.
The IDI Group Cos. and Boosalis Properties have submitted plans to Prince William County that show more than 900 housing units and 130,000 square feet of retail space on the 19.25-acre site at U.S. Route 1 and Occoquan Road. InsideNova first reported the submission of the plans.
The project is expected to cost $380 million to build, and a joint venture between IDI and Boosalis submitted rezoning requests for the properties, according to InsideNova.
Both requests ask to rezone parcels zoned for “general business” to “planned mixed-use district,” according to the filings. A 6.3-acre parcel is slated to get 330 homes and 40,000 square feet of “nonresidential uses” and a 12.95-acre parcel would get 640 homes and 90,000 square feet of those nonresidential uses, the filings show.
