Medical cannabis company Curio Wellness has opened a $7 million product research, development and manufacturing facility in Cockeysville that will employ 85 workers.
The company said in a news release that the 34,000 square-foot building will allow it to scale up production, keep pace with the state’s rapidly growing medical cannabis industry and continue its focus on research and development of targeted cannabis-based therapeutics.
