Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Angela Alsobrooks raised nearly $6.4 million for her campaign between late April and the end of June, according to filings from the Federal Election Commission that were due Monday.
“From Cecil County to St. Mary’s County, Garrett to Worcester County, and every place between, our people-first message is resonating with Marylanders,” Alsobrooks said in a statement Monday. “We continue to build upon our grassroots movement because voters know I will fight for them and their families, because we all want the same things; for our freedoms to be protected, to feel safe in our communities, to have access to quality education, and a job that treats us with dignity and respect.”
The most recent campaign finance quarterly reports were due to the Federal Election Commission by midnight Monday night. They cover the period from April 1 through June 30.
According to a campaign finance filing Monday, her opponent, former Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, raised $7.4 million in campaign contributions and money transferred from affiliated and authorized committees.
