For the second time in four years, a feasibility study will explore connecting a proposed expanded convention center to a new arena and hotel in downtown Baltimore.
The $1 million study, introduced at the request of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, was approved by the Maryland Stadium Authority at its board meeting Tuesday.
A new $1 million study will look to see if an expanded Baltimore Convention Center could work with the addition of a new hotel and arena attached.
The new study will look at environmental, traffic and community impacts along with what types of events the new project could bring. The Stadium Authority will oversee the report.
