COUNCIL MEMBER EDWARD BURROUGHS ANNOUNCES FREE COLLEGE TUITION PROGRAM
Program provides $1 million for Prince George’s County Community College Students
Please join us this Thursday at 11 a.m. as District 8 Council Member Edward Burroughs III announces a new program that will provide free college tuition to approximately a thousand students. This program is through a partnership with Prince George’s County Community College and will be available to those living in specific parts of the county.
“As the conversation continues on whether the government should help fund higher education, it’s time to take definitive action to help students. I want to ensure all my constituents who want to attend college can do so without money standing in the way,” said Burroughs.
WHAT: Press conference with Council Member Edward Burroughs and PGCC President Dr. Falecia Williams. Impacted students will also be available to speak.
