September’s revenue of $155.1 million for Maryland’s six casinos was the lowest amount collected since January 2022, according to data released Monday by betmaryland.com, an online resource for licensed, legal online sportsbooks in the state.
The revenue was down 2.6% from September 2022 ($159.27 million) and a decrease of 3.9% from August 2023 ($161.4 million). It was the lowest amount generated since Maryland’s casinos generated $153.8 million in January 2022.
The Maryland casino revenue high-water mark was in October 2022 when revenues hit more than $212.9 million.
There are no online casinos in Maryland.
