Virginia Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced $50,265,000 in federal funding for two Virginia airports on July 7.
The airports were awarded through the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Terminals Program, which was created through the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
This funding announcement comes one year after senators announced almost $400 million in funding for Virginia airports secured through the bipartisan infrastructure law.
