Last week, Cloudforce had the honor of celebrating the inaugural kick-off program introducing the Prince George’s County Tech Council (PGCTC) – a big step for the Prince George’s community!
The PGCTC mission and vision is to position Prince George’s County as a recognized technology and scientific leader within the Washington, DC metropolitan region; a ground-breaking venture Vice-Chair of PGCTC, Husein Sharaf will tackle in collaboration with leaders of the tech community and the Maryland Tech Council.
We were joined in our educational festivities by special guests Martin Rosendale, Darryl Barnes, David Harrington, David Iannucci, Troy LeMaile-Stovall and Vennard Wright to celebrate the value our county has to offer. Not only were we joined by these inspirational leaders, Miss Maryland’s Executive Producer and Director, Janelle Wright, along with Miss Maryland Contestant, Taylor Williams, graced us at the event with their presence, accomplishments, and future endeavors.
To round off an eventful evening of festivities and learning, County Executive Angela Alsobrooks and many leading voices emphasized the growth the county is experiencing; in addition to Prince George’s County being one of the fastest growing cities in the United States! Millions of dollars will be invested into the community, with the help of prominent state officials, to diversify and bolster technological innovations such as the transformative discoveries being made at the Goddard Space Flight Center.
