Captain White Seafood City has found a new home near National Harbor in Prince George’s County after casting off from its floating base of nearly five decades on D.C.’s Southwest waterfront.
The longtime fish market has acquired the Pizza Italia and Frank’s Sports Bar at 6308 Livingston Road for its new home, according to Marcus Daniels. Daniels is a broker with NAI Michael, which marketed the roughly 5,317-square-foot Oxon Hill building for sale on behalf of the seller, and posted word of the sale to a Facebook group focused on real estate development news in Prince George’s. The deal closed Dec. 29.
The seller was identified in Maryland land records as Frank J. Privitera, who paid $350,000 for the property in 1984. Fellow NAI Michael brokers Steve Catalano and Jim Miers represented Captain White. As of Tuesday, Maryland Judiciary’s online land records website had not yet recorded the sale of the building, which is assessed at about $863,600.
