With the competition for data center land bordering on the insane in Northern Virginia, officials in Maryland’s Prince George’s County think they can offer a less expensive option for companies looking for acreage.
To that end, the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corp. just unveiled a new campaign highlighting its business-friendly climate.
Among the items the county is touting are abundant access to fiber networks, power capacity, workforce and, added most recently, a friendlier tax environment for the data center industry to take hold, said David Iannucci, the Prince George’s EDC’s president and CEO.
