he annual Washington Auto Show that attracts thousands of car enthusiasts from around the region every year is canceled for 2021 due to concerns over COVID-19.
CEO John O’Donnell said in a statement that there’s just too much uncertainty about when D.C. would be able to safely host large-scale indoor events again.
Show organizers said that while there’s not an in-person event this year, they are working with a local broadcast partner on an auto show television special that will air in May. Details on that event will be announced soon, according to show organizers.
