The coronavirus pandemic didn’t stop the new owners of Largo Town Center from signing three retail tenants over the last few months, a feat they attribute to the facelift they recently gave the Prince George’s County shopping center.
A 35,000-square-foot Burlington department store opened Thursday in the town center, following a Foot Locker a few weeks earlier. There’s even a new restaurant set to open sometime this fall, the Rock & Toss Crab House.
Store closures are more typical than openings these days, so this amounts to quite the win for Finmarc Management, Inc., which bought the property for just under $44 million in January. Signing the retailer formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory was a particularly big deal for Finmarc, as it took more than half of the departing Regency Furniture store, one of the property’s anchor tenants.
