MGM National Harbor is rounding out its culinary team with the appointment of a casino-wide beverage director, pastry chef, restaurant director and others.
The new staff members will work alongside Executive Chef Jason Johnston in the operation of all the non-celebrity-chef-driven restaurants and food and beverage in the casino and hotel. That includes the National Market food hall concept we wrote about earlier this year, which will house 10 different eateries and bars in one large, open marketplace.
It also includes catering, banquets, in-room dining and bars. The casino is expected to open late this year with a restaurant program that also includes outlets from celebrity chefs José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson and Bryan and Michael Voltaggio.
