MD Casinos Generate $160.5M In Gaming Revenue During October

Maryland’s six casinos generated $160,524,322 in revenue from slot machines and table games during October, an increase of $712,557 compared to October 2023.

Contributions to the Education Trust Fund during October 2024 were $49,460,899, an increase of $964,819 (2.0%) compared to October 2023.

With the October figure of nearly $49.5 million, the casinos’ cumulative contributions to the Education Trust Fund have now surpassed $6 billion, totaling more than $6.005 billion since Maryland’s first casino opened in September 2010.

Casino gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
