Maryland Casinos Generate $159.8M In December Revenue, Down 2.6% Year Over Year

Maryland’s six casinos generated $159.8 million in slot machine and table game revenue in December 2025, down 2.6% from December 2024, with $67.9 million contributed to the state, including $49.0 million for the Education Trust Fund.

For the first half of Fiscal Year 2026, total casino revenue reached $968.1 million and state contributions totaled $415.6 million, both modestly lower than the same period last year.

Per the news release distributed on Tuesday, January 6: “Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $159,778,289 in revenue from slot machines and table games during December 2025. The statewide total was a decrease of $4,326,961, or 2.6%, compared to December 2024.

MGM National Harbor (2,268 slot machines, 214 table games)
$68,360,350 in December 2025, a decrease of $5,282,666 (-7.2%) from December 2024

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,878 slot machines, 179 table games)
$58,799,895 in December 2025, a decrease of $333,010 (-0.6%) from December 2024

Horseshoe Casino (1,365 slot machines, 115 table games)
$14,852,187 in December 2025, an increase of $1,618,617 (12.2%) from December 2024
