Travelers departing from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) are more likely to experience flight delays than at any other major airport in the U.S., according to a recent study by InsureMyTrip.
The study, which examined flight delay data from the Department of Transportation (DOT) for the first half of 2025, identified DCA as the airport with the highest percentage of delays.
The top ten airports with the most delays include Palm Beach International, Newark Liberty International, McGhee Tyson, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International, Norfolk International, Buffalo Niagara International, Jacksonville International, Dallas/Fort Worth International and Memphis International.
