The number of neighborhoods in DC where the median home price hits or exceeds $1 million climbed this year to the highest level on record.
An analysis by UrbanTurf with data from Bright MLS found that there are 19 neighborhoods where the median home price exceeds $1 million so far in 2026.
The previous high-water mark for DC’s million-dollar neighborhoods was 18, first reached in 2022 and matched again to close out 2025.
