Morgan State University and Under Armour Inc. announced a five-year sponsorship deal Monday bringing together two Baltimore institutions.
Under Armour (NYSE: UAA) will provide uniforms, apparel, gear and equipment for all of Morgan State’s teams, coaches, athletic department personnel and the campus community. The dollar amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Morgan State, a historically Black university, will wear Under Armour’s logo for the first time when its men’s and women’s basketball teams take the court on Nov. 25.
Athletic Director Edward Scott said in a statement the deal illustrates Morgan State’s “continued commitment to excellence on and off the field.”
