Last Friday, Prince George’s County police said they had to kick out more than 400 kids at National Harbor who had planned to meet up there in the area.

Bryan Perez, a spokesperson with the police, told DC News Now that one citation was issued, but there were no other issues.

“On Friday, there was a large social gathering and we had an increased patrol of officers to be cautious and luckily everyone was cooperative, and we had no incidents, and we issued one citation out of the 400-plus kids we saw,” said Perez.

Despite the large gathering, some businesses and shoppers, and police still believe the curfew is working to help keep everyone safe.
